ADD MISTER ZONE KIT -- ADD 2 ZONES PER KIT
ADDING MULTIPLE MISTING ZONES
Kit comes with 2 valves and 2 tees
Adding a "zone" essentially means creating a branch in your main water line that you can turn on or off independently. Using 1/4" push-fit components makes this a simple "cut and click" process.
How it Works
-
The Intersection (The Tee): You find the spot on your main misting line where you want the new section to start. Cut the tubing and insert the Push-Fit Tee. This splits the water flow: one path continues along your original line, and the new "leg" of the Tee starts your second zone.
-
The Control (The Valve): Immediately after the Tee on that new "leg," you insert the Push-Fit Ball Valve.
-
The Result: * Valve Open: Water flows through the Tee and into the new zone, activating those misters.
-
Valve Closed: Water still flows through the "straight" part of the Tee to your original misters, but is blocked from entering the new zone.
-
Why this is helpful
-
Targeted Cooling: You can turn off the mist over the BBQ grill while keeping it on over the seating area.
-
Water Conservation: No need to run the whole system if you are only sitting in one corner of the patio.
-
Ease of Use: Because they are push-fit, you can add these zones in minutes without needing to drain the entire system or use specialized tools.
This specific valve is the "easy button" for controlling water flow in a misting system. It’s designed to give you total control over individual sections of your cooling line without needing a toolbox or a plumber.
Key Features
-
Tool-Free Installation: The "push-fit" (or quick-connect) design means you simply slide your 1/4" tubing into the ports until it locks. No clamps, glue, or threading required.
-
Simple 1/4 Turn Operation: Unlike old-fashioned gate valves that require multiple turns, this lever moves just 90 degrees. It’s perfect for anyone with limited hand strength—just a quick flick of the wrist to turn the mist on or off.
-
Durable & Leak-Proof: Built with a "ball" mechanism inside that creates a tight seal, ensuring your misters don't drip when the system is supposed to be off.
-
Versatile: Ideal for isolating specific patio areas or shutting off the system for maintenance without turning off the main water source.
Pro-Tip for Installation
To ensure a perfect seal, make sure your 1/4" tubing is cut clean and square (not at an angle). If you push the tube in and feel a "click," you’ve cleared the internal O-ring and are good to go!
